Happy Wednesday everyone!! Only TWO more days left in this year. Are you excited? Doing anything special to celebrate?

Here is my layout for Cricut Wednesday and this week's Just Buggin challenge. This week's challenge at Just Buggin is to use the shadow or blackout feature on your die cuts. Well ALL of my butterflies have a shadow on them so I definitely made use of my shadow feature. :O)

I am THRILLED with this layout because it was the first time I have used my new Serenade cartridge. This cartridge is only available through a colored Expression bundle. I bought the bundle on Black Friday and sold the machine (I already have an Expression machine) so I could have this cartridge that I have been waiting for!!

  • Glitter paper is from the Piggy Tales December kit.
  • I made the butterflies and their shadows with the Cricut Serenade cartridge. The shadows were made with Whisper White cardstock and the bodies were made with retired Kiwi Kiss cardstock (you could use, Old Olive for a similar look).
  • My photos are matted on Rich Razzleberry cardstock.
  • The title was made with Vinyl and glitter Thickers.

Fun Times Layout

Here is another layout I made for the grandparents :O) If you are an SP regular, then you have seen the photos on a layout before. Tee hee!

I used a layout from an issue of Scrapbooks Etc as my inspiration.

The "artsy" effects were actually done using a free online photo editing thing called befunky.com It rocks!!

  • All my cardstock is Stampin' UP brand: Chocolate Chip, Kraft, Whisper White, and Tempting Turquoise
  • The striped patterned paper is from DCWV, I am not sure which stack, maybe the Mainstreet stack?
  • Buttons are misc. from my stash
  • Ribbon is from Piggy Tales, it was in my December kit from them.

I have two complete mini albums to share with you over the next few days. These are mini albums I made for Christmas gifts. The first, is a Concert Mini album. Some of the pages are shown below:

For all the pages, I used patterned paper from the DCWV Music Stack. All the cardstock used is Stampin' UP.

I apologize for the blur in the photos. I didn't realize it and have already given the album away so I can't get better photos. . .

The title was made from Basic Black cardstock using the Cricut Don Juan cartridge. The flowers are Prima Sprites. The ribbon is misc from my stash (I think my dear friend Emily might have given me this, Love you, EM!!)On this page I absolutely LOVE the singer die cut inside the star! Isn't that wonderful!! Both of these cuts are from Stampin' UP Cardstock, Basic Black and Pretty in Pink using the Cricut Hannah Montana cartridge.

The Rock Sensation title was made from Basic Black cardstock using the Cricut Hannah Montana cartridge. I added some Rhinestone bling to the guitar :O)
For this page, I used a Top Note die cut made from Old Olive cardstock.

Concert Album Part 2

**I  am on a ProvoCraft/Cricut Boycott! They won't get another dime from me!  Got a Cricut? Well use it! Don't have one yet? Consider a different  machine!! Click here for more details about my boycott and how I got here!! You can join the boycott too!**

Happy Saturday everyone! Today I am starting a multi-part series of mini albums!

For this first page, The patterned paper was already so detailed! The flowers are Prima Sprites accented with a rhinestone. I added a ribbon border. This ribbon is retired Stampin' UP Kiwi Kiss grosgrain.

For the next page, I added a Stampin' UP Top Note die cut made from Old Olive cardstock so that she can journal on it.

For this page, I matted the photo onto Taken with Teal cardstock and punched the corners with the Corner Rounder punch. The guitar journaling shape and microphone are both from the Cricut Hannah Montana cartridge. The guitar shape was cut out from Bermuda Bay cardstock and Whisper White cardstock. The microphone was cut out from Bashful Blue cardstock.

The Rock and Bracket are both from the Cricut Hannah Montana cartridge and cut out from Bashful Blue cardstock. The tiny star is just from the left over pieces from when the Bracket was cut out. I just added some Rhinestones to the bracket and star. The photo is matted onto Rich Razzleberry cardstock.

These two pages are accented with Prima Sprites (flowers) with Rhinestones added to the centers. The photo on the right is matted onto Pretty in Pink cardstock. The title was cut from the Cricut Don Juan cartridge using Stampin' UP Melon Mambo cardstock. I accented underneath the title with a strip of Melon Mambo polka dot grosgrain ribbon.

Merry Christmas & Happy Birthday! Sneak Peek included

**I  am on a ProvoCraft/Cricut Boycott! They won't get another dime from me!  Got a Cricut? Well use it! Don't have one yet? Consider a different  machine!! Click here for more details about my boycott and how I got here!! You can join the boycott too!**

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!!! I hope that you and your family have an amazing holiday season!

To celebrate, today I have some pretty tags to share with you! Two are Christmas themed and two are birthday themed. I made these tags and gifts for one of my dear friends because Christmas is also her birthday :O)

First, two Christmas tags:
For the Christmas tags, the tag and shadow tag are cut from the Cricut Joys of the Season cartridge from Kraft cardstock and Bashful Blue cardstock. Then I inked the edges with Creamy Caramel Classic ink using a Sponge Dauber.

The to/from stamp is from the Stampin' UP Winter Post stamp set.

The ribbon on the first tag is 1/4inch Chocolate Chip grosgrain ribbon and the ribbon on the second tag is 1/4inch Tempting Turquoise grosgrain ribbon.

The next two tags are birthday themed.

For this first one, I used a stamp from the Stampin' UP Birthday Bliss stamp set. On the Bermuda Bay cardstock, I used the Scallop Trim Border punch. The ribbon is 1/2inch Pretty in Pink striped grosgrain.
On this last tag, I used a new stamp from the Stampin' UP Whimsical Words stamp set, which will be available starting Jan 5th. Across the bottom, I used the new Pinking Hearts Border punch. The ribbon is Melon Mambo polka dot grosgrain ribbon.

And here are all the presents wrapped up with their cute tags!

Last Minute Christmas Cards Part 3

Merry Christmas Eve everyone!!! I hope you have a great holiday!!

Here is the last installment of last minute Christmas cards:

For all my last minute cards today, I used Kraft cardstock for the base and the "Season's Greetings" stamp from Stampin' UP Snow Swirled stamp set. I also used paper scraps from my stash.
For this first card, I used the new Scallop Trim Border punch on a Bermuda Bay cardstock scrap to make the nice border at the bottom. This punch, as well as a coordinating Scallop Trim corner punch will be available starting Jan 5th. The snowflake is from the Stampin' UP Serene Snowflakes stamp set.

For this card, I just changed the Whisper White cardstock scrap to a Bashful Blue cardstock scrap.

On this card, I used the Scallop Trim Corner Punch to decorate the Bashful Blue cardstock scrap.
