  1. Sam,
I am so sorry they treated you this way. For having great machines they sure do have crappy customer service.
    I hope everything works out.
I am now a happy follower.
    Hugs

  2. Sam I too am sorry you've had such a disappointing circle experience. I felt right from the beginning that you were paying way too much and receiving way too little.PC has a reputation for falling way short on their promises. Welcome to the Darkside my dear. I love the ability to cut and create that my E offers me but I'm DONE giving a company with CRAPPY customer service my money. I've joined the SCAL/MTC crowd and love every minute of it.Hope you don't stay mad for too long, they are not worth your anger.

  3. I'm on the same page with ya Sam! It's not anything that I thought it would or SHOULD be!

I'll still be coming here to see what you are up to. I'm new to the blogging and want to start a hop or something, maybe we can get together on it!

  4. Your comments confirmed my suspicions about the Cricut Circle and I'm glad I never joined. It seems that Provo Craft has become driven to find ways to get into our pocketbooks and this is the second time I've heard about their poor customer service. I'm with Cindy - free yourself like us and come learn how to use SCAL or MTC. More companies are getting on the SVG bandwagon, offering great files for us to use. You won't be disappointed! Time to join a different "circle" of gals - us non-Cricut-cartridge gals!
    Take care

  5. I, too, am sorry for the way that PC has treated you. You have done so much to promote their products. You deserve better. I have some serious concerns with the company and have held back on purchases (have bought little other than a few carts at a great discount since I bought my bug years ago). I think that they are trying to grow too fast and capture too much of the market, based solely on coming out with the latest and the greatest. They don't appear to care about the people who buy the products. Another example of corporate greed. I have a few other theories about the company but won't share those here. Just agree that you should quit giving them any free publicity. They have plenty of others (Courtney Lane and Obsessed With Scrapbooking, etc. who get lots of free products to do less promoting than you do for free). Maybe you don't have the right affiliations - just sayin'.

  6. Oh no! I'm sorry you're so unhappy :( I love the product, but I have heard a lot of bad customer service experiences. I think they really need to be consistent of their message board monitoring. They allow so much "personal stuff" and DRAMA that I DON'T want to see, and then sometimes they decide to moderate it. Then it's really unfair to the people that DO get moderated b/c other people haven't. Not cool!

  7. I think the admin is quite out of line. Maybe they had their panties in a twist today. I've seen far worse posted on those boards. That is why I don't visit them often. You have a blog and no one can tell you what to post here or tattle on you or make you take it down. Newspapers can post opinion pieces and that is what you write. Your opinion. It's not false, everyone at one point has had their dealings with PC support, or lack there of, I certainly have. I'll be following you here now.

  8. Sam, I know you have been unhapy with PC for a while and I am really sorry to see you leaving the circle. I love you work and think you have a true passion for your art and cricut was a part of it so it does sadden me that will not be a part of your crafting (at least for a while). I havent made any decisions yet if I will be returning to it after my year is up or not but will at least will still be able to see your stuff here if you choose not to go to the mb. BTW...it was one of the admins when the circle started that said the thing about the circle being the 4 carts and the rest is gravy. It had been in the FAQ on the circle when they first opened it. Then it was deleted like the majority of the FAQ's and we were left with the scaled back version they sent out a few months ago. lol so maybe the dt member was just repeating. Anyhoo, hope you choose to use your PC stuff in the future, you do nice work with it.

  9. Sorry about the MB drama. It sure seems like the Circle was way over promised and their "latest and greatest" products leave much to be desired. i didn't join the Circle or get the I, but I have read so many comments similar to yours of being frustrated with the PC CS. I have MTC and am a regular on the SmartBuyGal forum; it is so positive and fun over there! I recently checked in on the Cricut MB after a couple of months because I just picked up some of the $10 carts, but it is still full of hall monitors that don't let you express your opinion! Oh well, I hope your anger abates soon. Just know you have a lot of people that understand and support you. I'm a follower now too. ;)

  10. Um, wow. This is ridiculous. The moderator's message is what really got me. I can't believe with the amount of advertising you do for Cricut (and uncompensated at that) they would treat you like that. Although, I'm sure because you have a huge following and because you're a very trustworthy source, if you have a complaint, people are more apt to side with you - hence the reason I'm sure your negative comments were picked out rather than an "average joe's" comments. I wouldn't use their products until you receive a formal apology from the company and some sort of compensation for all the money you put into that Cricut Circle, just to be "terminated" before your membership ended.

  11. I will definately miss you on the mb. I can't believe they treated you so horribly. I never saw anything you said as negative, but I must have missed the specific offence to scrapalette? Anyway, at least you will still be blogging and creating!

  12. I have probably been kicked off the MB and I don't even know it LMAO! I emailed the Circle regarding the PC Gala at CHA (this is not the Crop). Being a PREMIER CHARTER MEMBER (you know, stupid enough to give them all of my yearly membership money upfront!) AND a CHA member, I really thought an invite to Gala should be mine...after all...they actually used the word "GALA" on the page when the Circle first hit the market. But, sadly, I got a series of emails stating they couldn't help me, out of their control, no more tickets available and the person in charge is confidential! I think the last 2 carts for the circle have been a JOKE! Why in the world would I want a cart of the Cricut logo and machines...what would I do with that??? anyway, I think the "tone" of emails and the quantity...made the receipient less than pleased with me.

  13. Stay strong Sam don't let them get you down! I also use SCAL and still buy only special cartridges. I would love to follow you on FB if you have a link. Your projects are awesome. Debbie :)

  14. Sorry to see how PC has treated you. Unfortunately that seems to be the norm for them. I have been a member of the MB for years and since they made the "Bug Guides" I frequent there less and less. All this because of one "bug guide". I'm an adult and resent being treated like a child by her!
Now, on to a better way of life for me. I belong to the "smartbuygal" and "MTC" message boards. You are free to talk, no censorship there. They do not condone bashing others for their opinions and views. They have very few rules. As long as you conduct yourself as an adult should.
MTC MB members are so helpful. You can ask a question and within minutes you have an answer.
Oh, and MTC works with several cutting machines besides PC. One more reason to own MTC!
I'm now a follower of your blog.

  15. As I said over there, I am so sorry this happened to you! They let "certain" people say whatever they want to whomever they want, however they want and nothing is ever said! But whatever. I am also looking into alternative cutters, and there is a lot of good info out there that I never would have known had I not bought MTC and joined the forum last year. So, here are some names for you to Google: Black Cat Cougar, Bosskut Gazelle, Craftwell eCraft. I'm sure you have heard of these already, but those are the ones that seem to be coming up to the PC machines, and the Black Cat surpasses it!!

  16. Sam it's (LylacFey) DeeAnn from the MB. Honey, I understand your pain. You remember you were in the right over this. Not them.

You know I have been a member for five years. I never cause any qualms. They pulled a stunt with me yesterday too that has me fed up, screaming mad and wanting to sell also.

I posted about the future of Design Studio and Craft Room offline use. Simple question, to the point and needed clarification.

You know "That Bug Guide" had to get involved. She posted an employee's name on the board and their ID number for all of us to contact. This had nothing to do with my question. This is also a huge no for security reasons. She's a Bug Guide? I will never understand. :)

What did PC do. Did they reprimand her by sending a PM or giving her a call? No, they edited our posts including mine and changed the wording. I am not joking. I came in to check my post yesterday and got the shock of my life.

The whole thread was censored. Unbelievable! People trust this company? They censor our threads? They write their own wording on our own threads? Where is Freedom of Speech here.

I know I am raving. I swear I have seen her pick on you more than once. I reported her for it too. I always thought she was jealous of you. :) Seriously!

I made a book. I am sorry. I am just so mad for you and me right now. We never cause trouble on the board. Still to be treated this way.

If you need help with another die cutter you know you can come to me since I own all the flavors.

My DH keeps reminding me the Cricut is good the people are bad. Your right it's hard to distinguish any more.

    Hugs to you!

  17. Sam,
you are right on all points. That is all you need to remember. It is crazy how some folks can be so blind to the faults of PC and follow like sheep.

  18. I am so sorry for the way you have been treated. I understand your anger and frustration! I do love my PC products, but agree that the CS leaves a lot to be desired. I will keep visiting you here and see you on FB!

  19. Although I haven't had the censorship issues you have, I agree 100% with your comments on the missed opportunities and failed promises that PC made. I think they forget that in the end, Circle membership was a business contract. We didn't sign up to join their family, their circle of friends or even their message board. We signed up based on the list of promised benefits offered to "members only". In the end, PC broke the contract by rescinding our priviledges without warning or compensation. Bad form and I, like you, intend to voice my opposition with my pocketbook.

As another poster on the Cricut message board said today- make a customer happy, they will tell 10 other people. Make a customer unhappy and they will tell 100 other people. I'm forwarding your blog post right now.

  20. You go girl! All I have to say is " I got yo back"

  21. That's just BS and I'm sorry you had to deal with it. I hardly ever go on any "official" boards because to me they are all bogus in my opinion. I rather find an off-the-beaten-path forum and have a circle of like-minded crafters then put up with the rubbish the official boards put out and the people who follow them like nothing's wrong.
