Haunted House Card

Hello everyone!

Today I have the last Halloween card for the week! I actually have a few more Halloween themed cards to share with you. TOMORROW is the beginning of something extra fun for you: Giveaways and guest designers!! My lovely design team is going to be sharing new projects with you all week long and I will be sharing giveaways with you. There will be lots of ways to win and MANY prizes up for grabs all week long so check back every day because it is going to be AWESOME!

Here is the last Halloween card:

Card Details:

• The sentiment "Fright Night" is from the is from the new Bold Sentiments II stamp set, which is all about those Fall/Winter Holidays. 
• The adorable haunted house was cut from the Cricut Holiday Cakes cartridge at 4.25inches tall. I used Calypso Coral (new Stampin' UP In Color) cardstock and patterned paper from the Echo Park Apothecary Emporium 6x6 paper pad. 
• The striped patterned paper is from the Echo Park Metropolitan 6X6 paper pad.
• The card base is Tangerine Tango cardstock (from Stampin' UP).
• Finally, I added some Pumpkin Pie satin ribbon to finish off the card. 

So there you have it! Now you have seen a whole week of Halloween inspired cards. I hope that will inspire you to make some Halloween cards of your own.

Trick or Treat Houndstooth Card

Hey everyone!!  My card today used a different new stamp from this month. Most of the week, I have been showing off the new Bold Sentiments II stamp set, but today, I want to show you a spooky card using the new Houndstooth Background stamp!!

Doesn't it look neat against the huge die cut sentiment?!

Card Details:

• The card base is Only Orange cardstock (retired from Stampin' UP) and I stamped it with the Houndstooth Background stamp using Tangerine Tango ink (from Stampin' UP).
• This awesome web patterned paper is from the Echo Park Apothecary Emporium 6x6 paper pad. I used a piece of Lucky Limeade cardstock (new In Color from Stampin' UP) as the shadow around the sentiment.  
• To make the letters stand out more, I went around all the edges with my Black Copic Multiliner from iCopic.com. Speaking of my multiliner, **WAHHHH* I can't find my poor mulitiliner now!! I don't know where he went, but I miss him very much, LOL! I have tried to look everywhere for him, but I haven't found him :(

Spooky Poison Card

Hey folks!!  Today I have another spooky card for you!! There are only two more days until the big giveaway week starts. I am so excited and I hope you are too!

Here it is:

Card Details:

• The cute little sentiment is from the new Bold Sentiments II stamp set, which is all about those Fall/Winter Holidays.
• The poison label was made using the Cricut Martha Stewart Holiday Cake Art cartridge.
• The stripe patterned paper is from the Echo Park Apothecary Emporium 6x6 paper pad. I used a piece of Basic Black cardstock (from Stampin' UP) for the bottom layer of the poison label so that the stripes would really stand out.
• The card base is some Kiwi Kiss cardstock (retired, from Stampin' UP).
• The ribbon is Papertrey Ink Orange Zest saddle stitch ribbon.

Frightful Tree Card + Design Team Wednesday

Hello everyone! If you are an early blog reader, you will notice that many days this week my posts haven't gone up at 7AM as scheduled. Well it was not my fault, it is silly blogger's fault. Sometimes my pre-scheduling actually goes up on time, and sometimes it doesn't. I will continue to TRY to schedule my posts for 7AM and when it doesn't go correctly, I will continue to get the post up on the blog.


Now, I have a project to share and then the Design Team girls will show you their new projects. Here goes! 

Card Details:

• The cute little sentiment is from the new Bold Sentiments II stamp set, which is all about those Fall/Winter Holidays.
• The patterned paper is from the Echo Park Apothecary Emporium 6x6 paper pad. I thought the tree was cute so I just made the patterned paper the main feature of my card.
• The pumpkin was cut out from the Martha Stewart Holiday Cakes cartridge at 2.25inches tall. I faux stitched around it with my black Copic Multiliner.

Halloween Poison Card

Hey everyone!! Today I have another spooky Halloween card for you!

Here it is:

Card Details:

• The sentiment on this card was stamped from the Mix 'n Match Basics stamp set. 
• The poison label was made using the Cricut Martha Stewart Holiday Cake Art cartridge. I cut the shape out at 2.5inches to ensure that it would fit on my card front, which is a standard size greeting card (5.5X 4.25inches). 
• The skull patterned paper is from the Echo Park Apothecary Emporium 6x6 paper pad. The little banner was also cut from a paper in this collection.
• On the poison label, I used my handy dandy Black Copic Multiliner from iCopic.com to outline all of the letters and the swirls so that they would stand out better.
• I used the following Stampin' UP Cardstock colors: Basic Black and Only Orange.

Challenges of the Week

The Challenge: Unloved Colors
Use some of those Copic colors that you have been neglecting! I know that as Copic fans, we have lots of colors and most of us tend to use the same colors most of the time. So pull out those unloved colors and give them some love!

For my inspiration card, I used a few Copic colors I haven't used a lot in the past: E74, E77, and E79, G24, B45 and B45.  I also used the following colors (that I have used a lot in the past): E00, E11, E13, and E15.

Wild Cat Halloween Card

Hey there, scrapmasters!! How was your weekend? Mine has been nice thus far, and I am sure today will be pretty nice as well. Is it starting to cool down in your neck of the woods? It has started to cool off here and it is SOOOO pleasant.

So here's the scoop: This week I am going to be sharing Halloween cards all week long!! I will throw in some other fun stuff during the week as well. And join me ONE WEEK from today because I am going to have some amazing giveaways for you guys!! I still can't believe that I have reached half a million visitors! It is truly mind boggling to me that I have so many wonderful readers, customers, and supporters. Next week I am giving back big time. For the entire week next week, I am going to be offering amazing giveaways from some spectacular companies! I am so thankful to those companies and to you. THANK YOU!

OK, so before I get to sentimental, let's move on to the project for today.  Here is my spooky cat card:

Card Details:

• This one was a really fun one to put together! I used two die cut shapes that were cut using the Cricut Expression. The cat was cut from the Martha Stewart Seasonal Cake Art cartridge at 3.25inches. The bat fence was cut at 3inches from the stamp cartridge. I ended up trimming off some of the fence so it wouldn't hang over the edge of the card.
• The cat was cut from a patterned paper from the Echo Park Apothecary Emporium 6x6 paper pad. I used Stampin' Dimensionals to pop the cat off the card for a little dimension.
• The sentiment is from the new Bold Sentiments II Holidays stamp set. There is also another Halloween sentiment in this stamp set. It has a great variety of winter holiday sentiments, for Halloween, Thanksgiving, Winter, Christmas, and New Year's.
• The card base is Only Orange cardstock (Stampin' UP, retired) and I stamped the Bold Houndstooth background along the left side of the card with orange ink.
• Finally, I drew a little word bubble around the sentiment using a Signo white gel pen to make it look like the cat was saying it! LOL
