First, let's talk contests!! So I really really need you to do me a favor!! I want you to enter our Crafter's Companion contest we've got going on. Now this is for USA residents only and if you win you will receive a $100 credit to use at the CC Store!! So what you need to do is become a follower on the CC Blog (click here) and then email my lovely DT boss lady, Bindy ( bindy@crafterscompanion.com ) with YOUR name and "Sami sent me". This contest isn't posted on our blog because they are going to keep track of which design team member sends over the most new readers and so we can both win!!! Come on, folks, I like new goodies and I am sure you do too. Let's win this thing!!
Today is our first ever SP Friday Fave!! What is an SP Friday Fave you ask? Well, let me tell ya! We want to spotlight our customers and our SP Stamps lovers so we are going to start spotlighting some of your beautiful projects today! Every Friday, check out the Friday Fave (for Faves, depending on how many we pick for that week) in the SP Forum. All you need to do is share your SP stamp projects with us via Facebook, SCS, SP Gallery, or Flickr, and we may just pick YOU as our Friday Fave. All our share links are in the sidebar under "Share Your SP". Check out our first Friday Fave by clicking here!
Also, this weekend, I am going to release some NEW SP STAMPS and A NEW PRODUCT in celebration of CHA. We're not going to CHA, but we still have new products to share. Be watching for our new stamps & new product announcement over the weekend!
So today, I have a Glue Dots project for you. This project is one I made for Valentine's Day.
Supplies Used:
Lippy Single Stamp from SP and Company
Cardstock from Papertrey Ink and Stampin' UP
Ink from Stampin' UP
Alphabets, patterned paper, and sticker sentiment from Echo Park Paper
Glitter glue from Studio
G
Corner Rounder
Instructions:
- Cut cream cardstock and score into a card shape (5.5X4.25inches when folded). Round the bottom corners of the card base. Round corners.
- Cut patterned paper 5.5inches wide and to desired length.
- Cut two strips of light pink cardstock 5.5inches wide and approx 1inch long.
- Attach the light pink strips to the back of the patterned paper with Mini Glue Dots Roller so that only 1/8inch of the pink patterned paper shows on each side, which will form a border around the patterned paper.
- Attach the patterned paper strip with pink border to card base using Mini Glue Dots Roller.
- Stamp the lips in red ink and trim around the lips.
- Attach the lips using Craft Glue Dots.
- Attach the alphabets, and sentiment element.
- Create little glitter dots near the edges of the card using glitter glue.
