First up, a little gift idea:
I wrapped up some cookies in some plastic wrap and then tied on this cute little tag. I actually gave this little treat to my husband in his lunch box one day. Well it came BACK in the lunch box and so I asked him why he didn't eat the cookies. He said they just looked so pretty he couldn't mess them up! Isn't that sweet?! I thought it was.
I was thinking that besides a cute little lunchbox treat, these would make adorable gifts for co-workers, or for a party favor, or a cookie exchange party! I love easy but cute little ways to dress-up sweet treats.
And my other idea was to make some over-sized handmade tags to add to any gift.
These were pretty easy to make. I just cut down some cardstock to 3X5inches and rounded the top corners of each tag, punched a hole, and added some twine.
For the pink tags, I just punched the bottoms of the tags with a border punch. For the green ones, I added some decorate label shapes using some Nestabilities dies.
I hope that you've got an idea or two on how to make your own handmade items! I will be back tomorrow with something else now :)

Your tags are all so pretty and I love all the different ways you finished them off. I am going to have to get busy and make some of these up to have ready for when I get the urge to do some baking. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing the inspiration! :)
Uh....I'd eat those cookies! But I would carefully save the tag. :) Cute project!!!
