Glam Candy Hearts Emma Card

Hello everyone! Happy Monday!

Today, I have a Copic project to share with you. This card was really fun to make. I really liked making the shimmery Candy Hearts background. I have a video tutorial showing how I colored in the AppleDapples hair. I also have a speed coloring video so you can see how I colored the rest of Emma.

Here is my hair coloring tutorial:

And here is the rest of my coloring as a speed coloring video:

I used the following Copic Colors:
For the hair: E37, E39, E49, E29
For the eyes: B06
For the skin: E000, E00, E21, E02
For the shirt and shoes: RV52, RV55

This little darling is Glam Girl Emma. I actually used her because I wanted her hands spread out so that she could hold this big Candy Heart. I used the Candy Hearts stamp set for the background and the large heart that Emma is holding.

The candy heart that Emma is holding was made from Aqua Mist cardstock from Papertrey Ink and stamped using Tempting Turquoise ink from Stampin' UP.

I added Diamond Stickles to her little crown to add some sparkle.

For the background I used Sweet Blush cardstock from Papertrey Ink. I sprayed it lightly with the Angel Pink Fireworks spray by Tsukineko. Then when the spray was completely dry, I stamped the candy hearts and sentiments inside the hearts using Blushing Bride ink from Stampin' UP.

To finish off the background, I rounded the bottom corners with the Corner Chomper and then added some Turquoise Chevron Twill ribbon.

I hope you enjoyed it! Tomorrow I will be back with a variation on this Candy Hearts Background technique for Tutorial Tuesday. See you soon!

    1. Thank you. Would you believe that Bob the canary is actually about 20 feet away from me. I'm on one side of the dining room and he is on the opposite side in the living room. You would think he is sitting on my shoulder. Lol
