Hedgehog Christmas Card

Hello again! Today it is Copic Monday & I actually decided to do a Christmas card! Crazy huh? Well, it just means I am ahead for next Christmas :)

There is also a sneak peek on this card too. Do you see it?

That's right, the banner shape and sentiment are NEW! These are a part of a new stamp set called Happy Banners! This set contains 3 banner shapes plus 18 happy sentiment for all sorts of exciting occasions. This set is perfect for lots and lots of things. I will share more about this set on January 10th when it is available.

The polka dots on the red cardstock were also made with a new stamp! We already have a Large Polka Dots background stamp. Well this is the Medium Polka Dots background stamp. I just stamped it with red ink so that I got a subtle tone on tone background.

This precious image is from Tina Wenke for Stampavie. It is called Hedgie Giving Mouse a Gift. I just thought these two were super cute so I colored it up. I didn't actually make a video to go along with this coloring because I colored it while I was watching TV one night lol.

I used the following Copic colors:
For the hedgehog & mouse: T0, T2, T4, T6
For the reds: R24, R27, R29, R37, R39
For the holly leaves: G29
For the sweater: G21, G24, G28, G29
For the snow: BG70

The green cardstock is some glitter paper I got from Doodlebug Designs a while ago.

Here is a closer look at my coloring:

  2. Postcard excellent! I love hedgehogs, in my collection of more than 50 (of course it's toys and postcards).
