Tutorial Tuesday: Christmas Card Mini Book

Hi everyone!

For my Tutorial Tuesday project for today, I pulled out a tool I haven't used in YEARS -the Bind it All! The BIA is one of those tools that I think everyone NEEDS to have in their collection, just in case you want to bind something together. Sometimes you just need to make a book! lol. I've thought about selling mine a few times, but I always hang onto it. I am really glad I did because it is such a nice tool to have just for occasions like this.

Well, I have seen this idea somewhere else before. I decided to make a mini book out of the Christmas cards our family received this year. I think I still have a few more that need to be added to my book, but I tried my best to collect the ones we had on display in our house.

I created a video to show you exactly how I created my mini book. I actually ended up using our brand new Timeless Typewriter Alphabet stamp set for this one.

Most years, I just attach all our Christmas cards to some scrapbook pages and put them in an album, but I really love how this turned out! I think I may start doing this every year instead.

Even my husband was impressed with this one. Generally, when I show him a project, he is kind of like "That's nice, honey". With this one, he was more like, "Wow, that's pretty cool!" and he flipped through it a few times. SUCCESS! lol

Well, that's it for today. I hope you enjoyed it & I will catch you back here tomorrow for our new SP Trends Challenge!!

  1. great idea-- a binding tool would be pretty awesome. its so funny you posted this because I was just thinking that I'd love to get smash books or other journal like items to catalog cards (admittedly a hoarder of special cards for a large part of my life)

    1. You and me both, Jodi! I love saving the cards I receive. I have a big memory board in my scrap area so I can display them :) I need to make more of these books with other cards.
