Don't forget! We're having our retirement party at midnight EST over on the SP Facebook page. Be there or be square!
Our design team call also ends at midnight so get those applications in.
Today, I have a photo tutorial for 3D Thursday.
The basket was made from some patterned paper from the Echo Park Sweet Girl collection, which was included in the February monthly kit.
The patterned paper measures 6x6inches. I scored it at 2 and 4 inches in both directions.
Then I cut along some of the score lines so that I could fold the piece of paper into a box.
Here's the folded box:
Around the top edges, I added some grey washi tape from The Sweetest Thing collection.
I also used the washi tape to make the basket handle. I cut a piece of what cardstock to .75inches and then covered it in washi tape.
To finish off the basket, I used a banner from the Happy Banners stamp set. The sentiment inside is from the Easter Eggy stamp set. This cute little sentiment fit perfectly inside the happy banner!
I also added a big bow using some yellow chevron twill ribbon.
That's it for now! I will be back at midnight EST for the retiring stamps announcement!! See you soon!
