I hope your week has been fabulous. Mine has been really good! To tell you the truth, I have been working working working because the orders are just flowing in & I am also trying to get some new stamps and such designed for a few months down the road. I like to be well prepared for upcoming releases. ;) It's been an overwhelmingly great week! I feel like my little stampy company is growing up!
Speaking of new company happenings, I have heard back from our stamp manufacturer and our new artist's stamps are going to be here for our April release!! I am going to start sharing sneaky peeks on APRIL 2nd!! Mark your calendars because the sneak peeks are going to start soon! Also, I have been keeping a Calendar of Events for you so you can keep up with any important SP crafty dates coming up.
You may have noticed that I haven't been working on Copic coloring videos, well the new stamps are the reason! I am going to have so many new coloring videos for you guys once the new stampy stamps come out! They are PERFECT for Copic coloring and Copic techniques. I am really excited to start showing you the new stamps.
Anyway, so I have a project for you today. I actually made this card a bit ago for my mom's birthday last month. I just haven't gotten it posted until now.
The patterned papers I used on this card are from the Basic Grey Love Letters paper pad. I cut the strips at 1.75x5.25inches. The card ended up being wider than a standard card. I just attached the papers and then trimmed the card base down.
I used many stamps from the new Certified Awesome stamp set to make the label and sentiment. Don't you just love how the sentiment lines up so nicely on that label shape?? This set gives you the power to create your own sentiments by mixing and matching the words. I made this card before we got the coordinating dies so I hand cut out that label shape. The dies make it sooooo much easier to do that.
For this one I also used the polka dot patterned stamp that coordinates with the label shape.
Then to finish off the card, I added a big bow using Turquoise Chevron Twill ribbon.
Well that's it for today! I hope you have a fabulous weekend!! Got any fun plans?
