Hello, my name is Samantha Peyton (formerly Samantha Strachan) and I am the owner and operator of Scrapmaster's Paradise and SP& Company Stamps. My husband and I are newly married as of January 2011, but have been together since 2005. He is the absolute love of my life and supports my goals and dreams. We currently reside in a small town in Tennessee near Knoxville with our 5 lovely dogs. My husband is currently enrolled in graduate school for engineering. I graduated from University of Tennessee in December 2010 with a BS in Biochemistry, BA in psychology, and a premedical concentration. I don't actually plan on using my degrees, but I am very proud that I have earned them. I have also taken many graphic design classes at a local community college.
I have been scrapbooking in some form or another since I was a small child. I have always loved crafts of all sorts. I have a background in acrylic and oil painting and I took painting classes my whole childhood through high school. When I discovered traditional scrapbooking, I found my niche. I love everything about scrapbooking including, but not limited to color theory, layout design, typography, learning new techniques, photography, digital scrapbooking, and journaling. My second scrappy love is card making.
Paper crafting is my absolute passion, and I am so happy to be able to share that with you. I joined the online scrapbooking community in 2007 and never looked back. I am totally and completely enamored with the scrapbooking community and would like nothing better than to be involved in it in some form or another for the rest of my professional life.
